IN MY OPINION, NUTRITION IS ONE OF THE EASIEST THINGS WE AS HUMANS CAN CONTROL IN THE PURSUIT OF OUR CHOSEN EXCELLENCE.

- Bailey Brown, Head Nutrition Coach

Hey, I’m Bailey, Founder and Head Nutrition Coach here at Enhanced Nutrition.

I’ve spent over a decade competing as a professional CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting athlete, including appearances at the Commonwealth Games and CrossFit Games. Alongside my athletic career, I’ve built a strong foundation in coaching, holistic nutrition, and business—owning and operating two successful gyms.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy from the University of Otago, have studied Nutrition Coaching under the Holistic Performance Institute, and I’m currently studying to become a qualified Clinical Nutritionist.

Now, my biggest passion lies in helping people realise just how powerful food really is. I love seeing the shift when someone understands that nutrition isn’t just about calories—it’s about energy, resilience, hormones, recovery, and living fully. My approach blends science, real-world experience, and empathy to guide people toward sustainable results that actually feel good.

I was first exposed to the importance of nutrition after what I consider a failed attempt at being a high-performance Olympic Weightlifter. In a sport that requires competing in weight classes, I very naively expected the best from my body while fuelling it poorly — over-eating, under-eating, dehydrating, and ultimately experiencing RED-S, along with the physical and emotional toll that came with it.

That experience shifted everything for me. It gave me a deep, personal understanding of how powerful — and how damaging — nutrition can be when it’s not done right.

Through both lived experience and further study, I’ve developed a strong understanding of the challenges many people face. I don’t just understand them academically — I’ve been through them. And that’s what drives the way I coach today: helping others navigate these struggles and become the best version of themselves in a way that is sustainable, supportive, and grounded in real life.

In my opinion, nutrition is one of the most powerful things we can control in the pursuit of our chosen excellence.
