“Nutrition is one of the most powerful things we can control in the pursuit of our chosen excellence.”
Hey, I’m Bailey.
The nutritionist, athlete and founder behind Enhanced Nutrition.
I’ve spent more than a decade in high-performance sport, competing internationally in both Olympic Weightlifting and CrossFit - including representing New Zealand at the Commonwealth Games and competing at the CrossFit Games.
But my experience with nutrition hasn’t just come from textbooks or the sporting arena.
During my years as a weight-class athlete, I learnt firsthand what happens when you expect a lot from your body without giving it what it needs. I went through periods of over-eating, under-eating, dehydrating and ultimately experiencing RED-S, all while trying to perform at my best.
Those experiences completely changed the way I viewed food, health and performance and ultimately shaped the way I coach today.
My approach combines evidence-based nutrition, real-world experience and genuinely personalised coaching.
Because good nutrition isn't just about hitting calories and macros. It’s about having the energy to train, recovering well, supporting your health, feeling good in your body and having a way of eating that actually fits your life.
While performance nutrition will always be a big part of what I do, my work has evolved to look at the bigger picture of health too. I’m particularly passionate about supporting women through preconception and pregnancy, helping them feel confident that they’re nourishing both their own body and their growing baby through such an important stage of life.
Whether I’m working with an elite athlete chasing performance, supporting a woman through preconception or pregnancy, helping someone change their body composition, or simply helping someone feel healthier and more confident with food, my goal is the same:
To give you the knowledge, strategy and support to nourish your body well — for whatever you’re asking it to do.
Nutrition should help you do more, not take more from you.
Experience meets education
Alongside more than a decade of experience in high-performance sport and years spent coaching others, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy from the University of Otago, alongside qualifications in Holistic Performance Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition through the Holistic Performance Institute.
My education in clinical nutrition has expanded the way I approach nutrition beyond performance alone — allowing me to consider the bigger picture of health, including digestion, hormones, energy, recovery, preconception and pregnancy nutrition, and overall wellbeing.
It’s this combination of science, clinical knowledge, lived experience and practical coaching that shapes the way I work — and what Enhanced Nutrition is built on.
Let’s work together!
